LAHORE: The coronavirus claimed 15 more lives while 1,163 new cases were reported in the province
during the last 24 hours.
According to data shared by the spokesperson for the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare
Department (PP&SHD) here on Friday, death toll reached 11,305 while a total number of cases
were recorded 369,358 and 338,051 patients had been recovered so far.
As per data of the PP&SHD, currently 20,002 patients are under treatment in different
hospitals and 755 patients had been recovered.
The health department conducted 19,017 tests for the COVID-19 during the last 24 hours and 6.41 million testes had been conducted so far. Meanwhile, 525,120 citizens had been vaccinated in 662 centres and a total number of vaccinated people reached 22,278,237 in the province. The Punjab health department urged the masses to follow SOPs for their protection and cover their faces with masks besides washing their hands with soap several times in a day to protect themselves from the COVID-19. Contact 1033 immediately regarding symptoms of the coronavirus, the healthcare department urged the masses.
