NAUSHEHROFEROZE: Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tashfeen Alam on Thursday presided over a meeting for reviewing arrangements made for upcoming anti-Polio Campaign to start from 20th September.
District Health officer (DHO) Dr. Asadullah, ADHO Dr. Sikandar Ali Abbasi, WHO Polio eradication officer Dr. Dhani Bux, DM PPHI Gul Rehman Abbasi and all taluka supervisors attended the meeting. Addressing the meeting DC said that it was our collective responsibility to protect children under 5- years age from polio virus. DC directed to strictly follow SOPs and ensure inclusion of volunteers who were fully vaccinated against Coronavirus. DC instructed officers of health department to pay full attention to the upcoming polio drive. Earlier polio focal person of district health office apprised the meeting the all arrangements were finalized for polio campaign including formation of 966 teams to administer 2, 86984 children upto 5 years age.
