SARGODHA: Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Naila Baqir on Wednesday issued a notification fixing the prices of basic edibles items.
According to new rates fixed by district administration, super basmati rice (new) Rs 118 per kg, super basmati rice (old) Rs 123 per kg, daal channa (motti) Rs 133 per kg, daal channa (Barek) Rs 127 per kg, daal mash (washed) Rs 233 per kg, masoor daal (motti) Rs 173 per kg, masoor daal (barek) Rs 173 per kg, mong daal (washed) Rs 127 per kg, white gram Rs 173 per kg, white gram (imported) Rs 143 per kg, Black gram Rs 131 per kg, gram flour Rs 133 per kg, mutton Rs 800 per kg, beef Rs 400 per kg, Tandoori roti 100 gm Rs 7, Khameri roti Rs 10, milk Rs 70 per liter and yogurt Rs 80 per kg can be sold while the prices of chicken, eggs and fruits and vegetables will be fixed on a daily basis.
The deputy commissioner directed the Price Control Magistrates to ensure implementation the prices of edibles.
