ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib on Wednesday warned the supporters of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) to avoid violating laws of the country.
“No lenient policy would be adopted against the law breakers, “ he said while talking to a private television channel.
The State would take action against those who would be involved in disturbing peace of this country, he stated.
He made it clear that people of Pakistan had great respect for “Namoos-e-Risaalat”.
There is a Parliament to discuss all important issues of national interest, he said. Commenting on the statement of Fazal ur Rehman about TLP, he said.
“TLP is not a democratic party.” TLP, he said is a defunct organization and the supporters of TLP had been involved in killing and injuring the personnel of law enforcement agencies.
Farrukh Habib said the government is responsible to protect the life and property of every citizen. Replying to a question about Shoaib Akhtar, he said a committee has been constituted to look into the matter of a legend cricket player.
