LAHORE: Police claimed on Wednesday to have recovered four girls from Sahiwal, who went missing
in Hanjerwal area here on July 30.
CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mehmood Dogar told the media that it was pre-mature to say that
the girls were abducted or they had gone Sahiwal on their own will. The real facts about
their missing would know after they would be brought back to Lahore and through investigation.
However, the Lahore police have arrested two persons, including a rickshaw driver Arslan,
who had dropped the girls near EME Society at the Canal Road before their disappearance
and a neighbour of girls identified as Omar.
It is pertinent to mention here that Anam (10), Kaneez (11), Ayesha (14) and Samreen (8)
had gone missing.
The father of Anam and Kaneeza had got registered an FIR in this regard.
Further investigation was underway.
