ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA) will hold two back-to-back ITF Pakistan Juniors International Ranking Tennis Championships here at the PTF Complex.
The first event, ITF Pakistan AJ Towers International Junior Tennis Championships will be held from February 7-12, while the second ITF Pakistan Syed Dilawar Abbas Memorial International Junior Tennis Championships will take place from February 14-19 February, said a press release on Thursday.
A large number of junior players will be participating in the two events from all over world, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Iran, India, Korea, Kazakhstan, Russia, Romania, Turkey and host Pakistan in boys and girls under 18 singles and doubles categories. As there will be a qualifying event starting from Saturday, players will start arriving for sign-in with the referee on Friday.
The ITF Covid-19 standard operating procedures will be observed and no spectators be allowed to witness the tournaments as per government policy.
