PESHAWAR: Leading educationist Habibullah Khan died at a government hospital in Islamabad after a long illness, his family sources said on Friday.
The funeral prayers were offered in his native village of Dagai in Buner District in the presence of a large number of people including Education Department officers, teachers, students, and relatives.
Habibullah Khan was born in Dagai village of Khadokhel tehsil of Buner district.
He was the principal of various schools in Buner and served as District Education Officer Swat and Buner.
He was also the Additional Director of Education in erstwhile FATA.
He was the father of Professor Dr. Iftikhar, Advocate Sajjad Ahmad, and Mushtaq Ahmad.
