ISLAMABAD:The exchange rate of Pakistan rupee strengthened by 06 paisas against the US dollar in the interbank trading on Monday and closed at Rs 176.71 against the previous day’s closing of Rs 176.77.
According to Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of dollar in the open market recorded at Rs 177.2 and Rs 178.5 respectively.
Similarly, the price of euro appreciated by 55 paisas and closed at Rs 197.41 against the previous day’s closing at Rs 196.86.
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.53, whereas an increase of Rs 1.11 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound, which was traded at Rs 237.47 as compared to its last closing at Rs 236.36.
The exchange rates of Emirates Dirham and Saudi Riyal decreased by 02 paisas to close at Rs 48.11 and Rs 47.10 respectively.
