QUETTA:Three- Day Annual “Tablighi Ijtima” has begun today (Thursday) as tens of thousands of participants from all over the country started reaching the area to attend the religious gathering.
Personnel of Law enforcement agencies including Frontier Corps, Police and Levies have been deployed for the security of the venue and people reaching the district Sibi. Walkthrough gates have also been set up by the Special Branch to ensure foolproof security arrangements to the devotees. On the directives of district administration, all public and private schools would remain closed during three- days while Health department will set up Free Medical Camps at and around the Tablighi gathering. Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Sibi Syed Zahid Shah and Senior Superintendent of Police Sibi Mir Dostain Dashti visited the routes leading to the Ijtima venue and reviewed security arrangements’ put in place for the devotees. During three days, prominent religious scholars would address the gathering. Ijtima would conclude on 13th February with final dua to be offered by the member of Tableeghi Shura.
