PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government (LG) Department Wednesday said process of registration of children by National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) was underway.
While clarifying a news item published in a section of press, the spokesperson for LG department said that special campaign to register children was underway and news appeared in media about suspension of services by NADRA was baseless.
Decision taken in a meeting with National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) regarding
static IP would be implemented very soon keeping in view interests of public, said a press release.
The spokesperson said that under a Memorandum of Understanding signed in May 2021, the LG department would provide list of IP addresses to NADRA and that NTC has been contacted in this connection. It was said that LG Department would soon start work on
online registration with the assistance of NADRA.
