HYDERABAD: A total of 814 students of University of Sindh (SU) have started receiving second instalment of Rs 40, 000/- each in under Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Programme Phase-I. Out of 814, 121 male and female meritorious students have received cheques of Rs 40, 000/- on Thursday while scholarship amount of 208 students has been transferred to their bank accounts and remaining 485 students will receive the cheques on Friday. In this connection, the Students Financial Aid Office of University of Sindh in collaboration with Higher Education Commission has arranged a ceremony on Thursday at Shaikh Ayaz Auditorium of Arts Faculty Building where the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro distributed cheques among 121 male and female students.
