MULTAN: The Women University (WUM) and Sustainable Social Development Organization (SSDO) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in education, research, training activities, besides capacity building of students in diverse fields.
The MoU was signed by Vice Chancellor Dr Uzma Quraishi and SSDO Executive Director Syed Kausar Abbas.
As per MoU, both the organizations would jointly carry out the research work, develop hard and soft resources of knowledge and education.
Both organization would hold conferences, seminars, lectures, workshops and consultative meetings in the fields of mutual interests.
A committee would be constituted, comprising members of both the organization to execute the agreement.
Kausar Abbas said collective efforts would be made for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in education sector, projecting Paigham-e-Pakistan campaign, promoting peace and harmony, and preventing extremism. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Akhtar Malik, Dr. Maryam Zain, Dr. Sara Musaddiq , Dr. Malika Rani other faculty members and students.
