Karachi: A total of 341 Junior Clerks (BPS-11) serving in various sections of Sindh Police have been promoted to the post of Senior Clerk (BPS-14) with the approval of Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho.
According to a Sindh Police spokesperson on Wednesday, the departmental promotion process was completed under the supervision of Additional IGP Establishment in accordance with prescribed rules, regulations and service rules.
A total of 445 cases were reviewed during the process, following which 341 Junior Clerks meeting the prescribed criteria were promoted to the next grade.
The spokesperson said merit, service rules and departmental procedures were followed throughout the promotion process.
IGP Sindh Javed Alam Odho congratulated all the promoted Senior Clerks and expressed his best wishes for their future responsibilities.
He expressed the hope that the promoted ministerial staff would perform their new duties with dedication, integrity, professional competence and a sense of responsibility, and play an effective role in the efficient functioning of the administrative affairs of Sindh Police.
