FAISALABAD:As many as four addicts expired while four others were hospitalized after taking toxic drug injections in the area of Thikriwala police station.
Police spokesman said here on Tuesday that the addict persons reportedly injected themselves toxic drug injections near Adda Sadhar and started feeling dilapidated condition.
Receiving information, Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot but 4 persons namely Shani (18), Dastgir (50), Bhatti (40) and Arshad (40) residents of Chak No.277-JB expired and the Rescue team shifted 4 others, who were yet to be identified, to Allied Hospital in critical condition.
The police took the bodies into custody and dispatched them to mortuary for postmortem while further investigation was under progress, spokesman added.
