Burewala: The Civil Society Network distributed 6,000 saplings of various rare species free of cost among girls’ elementary schools across Burewala tehsil.
A ceremony was held at the Deputy Education Office (Female), where representatives of the Civil Society Network handed over the saplings to heads and teachers of girls’ elementary schools.
Speaking on the occasion, former parliamentarians and education officials appreciated the tree plantation and free sapling distribution campaign being carried out by Civil Society Network Patron-in-Chief Sheikh Shahzad Mubeen for the past seven years.
The speakers said that millions of saplings had so far been planted in educational institutions in Burewala and surrounding areas through the network’s efforts, contributing to a cleaner environment and promoting a greener future for the younger generation.
