Faisalabad:As many 836 applicants have been provided relief in matters pertaining to various departments through the FDA One Window Counter during the last nine months while 58 applications are currently under process in different departments.
This was informed during a meeting chaired by Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhary, in which performance of the One Window Counter was reviewed.
Additional Director General Qaiser Abbas Rind, Director IT Yasar Ejaz Chattha, Director State Management-I Junaid Hassan Manj, Directors Town Planning Asma Mohsin and Afnan Saeed Sindhu, Deputy Director IT Abdullah Noor and other officers attended the meeting.
During briefing, it was informed that expeditious action had been completed on 635 applications related to State Management-I, 99 applications pertaining to Town Planning-II, 54 applications concerning Town Planning-I, and 48 applications related to Katchi Abadis through the One Window Counter.
The matters in which applicants were provided relief included transfer of properties, approval of commercialization, inheritance mutations of properties, implementation of court decrees, issuance of ownership clearance certificates and town planning reports, matters related to housing schemes and issuance of various types of NOCs.
Reviewing the performance of the One Window Counter, FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhary directed that the process of disposing of citizens’ applications within the stipulated time frame be made faster and more effective.
He said that providing citizens with facilities under one roof is a priority of the FDA and that the One Window Service should be further strengthened to save applicants from unnecessary official delays, repeated visits to offices and avoidable procedural complications.
DG FDA directed the officers to dispose of pending applications on a priority basis and ensure effective monitoring of the progress of every application.
He further said that there would be no compromise on providing relief to citizens with transparency, merit and within the prescribed timelines. He also emphasized that timely decisions on applications should be ensured through better coordination among different departments.
