Abbottabad: On the directions of SSP Traffic Muhammad Ishtiaq Khan, Abbottabad Traffic Police launched a special operation against substandard LPG cylinders, pressure horns, vehicles without number plates, flashlights, unnecessary stickers and unauthorized vehicle decorations.
The operation was conducted in collaboration with Motor Vehicle Examiner Bilal Khan, during which various vehicles were checked and violations of traffic rules were identified.
Drivers were also briefed about the importance of complying with traffic laws and removing unnecessary modifications from their vehicles voluntarily.
The Traffic Police appealed to citizens to cooperate with the campaign, saying unnecessary pressure horns cause disturbance and can particularly affect elderly people, children and patients.
The department said public cooperation was essential for ensuring safer travel, a peaceful environment and a better traffic management system.
