ISLAMABAD: Under Islamabad High Court (IHC) order KP police have registered case of abduction of a citizen Haroon Mehmood from KP against former commandant of Mehsud Scouts Col Mujahid Hussain.
Haroon Mehmood is missing since last 15 years.
Federal government has sought 4 weeks time for payment of compensation of Rs 30 lac to the family of missing person.
The court also ordered to provide security to the petitioner.
The petition seeking recovery of missing Haroon Muhammad KP national came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb Thursday.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) filed copy of FIR in IHC.
Mention is made about the responsible officers who are affiliated with intelligence agencies in the report.
The case of incident which occurred in 2009 has been registered in Jamrud police station after 15 years.

The court accepted federa
l government plea to give more time for payment of compensation.
The court remarked if the compensation is not given then the salaries of defence secretary and finance secretary will be attached.
The court during previous hearing had ordered federal government to pay compensation of Rs 30 lac to father of missing person.
Imaan Mazari advocate said the family of missing person is receiving threats.
The court while ordering to ensure security of petitioner adjourned the hearing of the case for three weeks.
