Astore: A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Astore Muhammad Shoaib to review the pace of work and construction quality of various ongoing development projects being executed by the Works and Communications Department, Electricity Department, Education Department, and Rural Development and Local Government Department in Astore
Officials and representatives of the concerned departments attended the meeting and gave detailed briefings on the development projects being executed under their respective departments, progress achieved so far, issues being faced, and measures for timely completion of the projects.
On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Shoaib reviewed in detail the pace of work, quality standards, and progress towards completion of the ongoing development projects within the stipulated timeframe. He directed the concerned officials to ensure that all development projects were executed in accordance with the prescribed standards and approved designs, and that all available resources were utilized to ensure their timely completion.
He said that unnecessary delay in the completion of public welfare development projects would not be tolerated, while no compromise would be made on the quality of the projects. He directed the concerned departmental officials to regularly monitor the ongoing projects and prepare progress reports regarding the pace and quality of work.
The Assistant Commissioner further said that development projects play an important role in providing basic facilities to the people and promoting overall development of the area. Therefore, he stressed that transparency, quality and adherence to the stipulated timelines must be ensured in all projects.
The meeting also reviewed the progress of various development projects and discussed necessary measures for resolving the issues being faced and moving the projects forward in accordance with the targets.
