ISLAMABAD: Assistant Commissioner Secretariat and Assistant Director Civil Defense, Civil Defense teams on Wednesday conducted operations in various sectors of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and arrested 24 professional beggars.
According the ICT spokesperson, on the special directives of Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Civil Defense teams under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Secretariat and Assistant Director Civil Defense, visited Koh Noor Mill Road, IJP Road, Golra Mor, G-10 Center, G-11 Center, I-8 Center and Double road and held 24 beggars.
It should be noted that operations against beggars under the supervision of Assistant Commissioners are underway on a daily basis.
