Astore: Assistant Commissioner Shounter Tauseeq Ahmed, accompanied by Assistant Director Disaster Management Authority Astore Husamuddin, SDO Headquarters Shujaat and Engineer Shehryar, visited the newly constructed bridge over Majni Hut Nullah and reviewed the arrangements in and around the bridge.
During the visit, the officers inspected the newly constructed bridge and examined various aspects relating to its construction, accessibility, surrounding conditions and traffic movement. They also visited different locations adjoining the bridge and reviewed the prevailing situation in the area.
Assistant Commissioner obtained the necessary information from the concerned officials regarding the bridge and adjoining routes. He also reviewed arrangements aimed at providing better transportation facilities to the local population and directed the officers present to ensure all necessary measures for public convenience and safe mobility.
Officials of the Disaster Management Authority and the Works Department also briefed the Assistant Commissioner about the bridge and arrangements in the surrounding areas. They also discussed measures to address possible difficulties faced by the public and further improve traffic movement in the area.
The Assistant Commissioner emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among relevant departments to ensure the timely completion and effective utilization of public facilities. He directed the concerned authorities to continuously monitor the condition of the bridge and its connecting routes to ensure that the local population does not face any inconvenience in transportation.
