Rawalpindi:Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital organized an awareness walk titled “Love Your Eyes” to mark World Sight Day, drawing participation from ophthalmologists, medical students, and paramedical staff to emphasize preventable blindness and timely ophthalmic care.
Participants carried placards advocating for routine vision screening, early diagnostic interventions, and specialized eye care for children and senior citizens.
Addressing the gathering, hospital representatives highlighted that Al-Shifa Trust has delivered specialized eye care and sight restoration services for 35 years, urging the public to prioritize eye health and seek immediate clinical advice upon observing vision impairments.
