ISLAMABAD: PTI chairman Imran Khan has said any one’s coming and going makes no difference for the political party having the biggest vote bank .
” this is election year. It happens in which country that there is year of election and public meetings could not be staged. Who is the biggest robber and fugitive of Pakistan comes to Pakistan and contests election, he said this while talking to media men on the occasion of his appearance in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) here Friday.
I condemn attack on Jinnah House, he said adding I have condemned it earlier too. Every Pakistani is condemning it, he added. What has happened should not have happened.
He held ” I have shown my house to media. There is no substance in the report of stay of terrorists therein.
The steps taken by PDM and violation of human rights by them led to defamation of country, he remarked.
The country can not run in atmosphere of fear. PDM has got embroiled by arresting 7000 people. On the basis of this I had said the situation will improve within a week.
A political party which has vote bank cannot be defeated, he observed.
One sided talks cannot take place, he said. We are talking of talks since 11 months.
I have not seen such state oppression ever before, he said adding this had not happened even in Musharraf era. I don’t know about Zia era but such enormous crackdown was not carried out ever before. People rights have been usurped.
In this situation only judiciary is protecting the rights of people.
They want PTI will be fully crushed, he underscored. What they say level playing field means when party is fully crushed and who is dubbing himself Imam Khumeni, is the biggest robber and absconder of Pakistan should come to Pakistan again and contest election.
To a question he said he is determined for this fight. I am captain who fights till last ball and I will fight till last ball.
