MIRPUR (AJK): Waris Hamid Nizami, 71, a retired senior officer of the National Bank of Pakistan and former Senior Manager NBPs running the National Exchange Company, died of cardiac arrest in a Lahore hospital.
He was laid to rest on Monday evening in presence of a large number of mourners including family members, friends and relatives
Nizami was the son of veteran Kashmir freedom movement activist late Abdul Hamid Nizami and elder brother of senior Kashmiri journalist and APP’s Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao.
He left behind a widow, two sons Rao Zeashan Nizami and Rao Mohemin Nizami and two daughters in his survivors.
