Asphalt work begins on long-neglected Banda Mosam Khan Road

Kohat: Work to asphalt Banda Mosam Khan Road here has begun after nearly 40 years, bringing renewed hope to residents who have long sought improved road infrastructure.



Daud Shah Afridi, Chairman of the District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Kohat and a Member of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, visited the road to review progress on the project.



Speaking on the occasion, Afridi said the start of work addressed a longstanding demand of the local population and reflected efforts to improve basic infrastructure and resolve public problems.



He directed the concerned authorities to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe, enabling residents to benefit from improved road access without further delays.



Local residents welcomed the commencement of asphalt work, saying the road’s rehabilitation would make daily commuting easier and improve connectivity for the area. They expressed hope that the project would be completed soon.



The project received funding from Daud Shah Afridi and Member of the National Assembly Shehryar Afridi, while local Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers also supported efforts to launch the work.



Residents appreciated the efforts of both Afridi lawmakers and expressed optimism that completion of the project would provide lasting relief to the local community.
