Bahawalpur:A 20-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a tragic road accident after colliding with a car and falling onto the road, where he was run over by a 22-wheeler trailer approaching from behind in Hasilpur.
According to rescue officials, a boy driving away motorcycle was on way on Bahawalpur road passing through Gulbarg Town in Hasilpur when his bike struck agaisnt a car and boy fell down o road. They further said that when the boy fell down on road, he was crushed by a trailer coming from behind. ‘The victim sustained a fatal head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene,’ they added.
Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the body to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Hasilpur, for legal formalities. Police reached the scene and initiated further investigation into the incident. The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained.
