Sukkur: Vice Chancellor of The Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University (BNBWU) Sukkur, Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj on Monday, attended an exclusive dinner gathering hosted by Vice Chancellor of Ziauddin University Karachi, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh.
The high-level interaction was graced by Dr. Peter Moran, Executive Director of the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), and Dr. Nishat Riaz, Chief Executive of Malala Fund Pakistan, along with other distinguished leaders from academia and industry.
During the meeting, discussions centered on enhancing access to prestigious Fulbright and Humphrey scholarships and fellowships, strengthening international academic linkages for Pakistani universities, and advancing the cause of women’s education and empowerment.
Prof. Dr. Tehmina Nangraj highlighted avenues for greater international exposure and scholarship opportunities for the students and faculty of BNBWU Sukkur. She reaffirmed the university’s commitment to promoting global academic engagement and creating new pathways for women’s advancement through higher education.
The participants appreciated BNBWU’s role as the first public sector women university in Sindh and agreed to explore future collaborations to facilitate greater participation of its students in international programs.
