DG Khan:The local Environment department fined Rs. 400,000 to owners of different gypsum crushing units in Sakhi Sarwar by sealing four units on the spot Thursday.
Similarly, two out of seven kilns were sealed in Kot Chhata causing smog in the area.
Deputy Commissioner Shahid Zaman said the administration had taken action in a timely manner to control the smog.
He said the crushing kiln units were being sealed with fines of lakhs of rupees imposed to control the smog.
