Chief Justice Ali Baig inaugurates Court Record Digitization Branch in Astore

Astore: Chief Justice of the Chief Court of Gilgit-Baltistan, Ali Baig, formally inaugurated the Court Record Digitization Branch in Astore by cutting the ribbon. The initiative aims to preserve court records through a modern digital system and promote the use of technology in judicial affairs.



The inauguration ceremony was attended by Director General Judicial Academy Ghulam Abbas Choppa, District and Sessions Judge Minhaj Ali Raja, Registrar of the Chief Court of Gilgit-Baltistan Rahat Ali Changazi, Senior Civil Judge Astore Hidayat Ali, Advocate Sami, the Vice Chairman of the Gilgit-Baltistan Bar Council, administrative officers and a large number of lawyers.



The establishment of the Court Record Digitization Branch is an important step towards modernizing the judicial system. The new system will help preserve court documents in digital form, improve record management and make it easier to access the required documents when needed.



The initiative is expected to improve the safety and management of judicial records, streamline office procedures and ensure better access to documents related to court proceedings.
