Hyderabad: The University of Sindh, Jamshoro will conduct the second-phase pre-entry test for admission to bachelor’s degree programs for the academic year 2027 on Sunday, October 11, with all necessary arrangements having been completed.
According to a university spokesperson, an important meeting of the conveners of various committees was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Fateh Muhammad Mari (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz) to review preparations for the test. The conveners briefed the meeting about the arrangements. During the meeting, Registrar Sajid Qayyum Memon provided details of the necessary arrangements including security measures.
Director Admissions Dr Ayaz Keriyo briefed the Vice Chancellor about the online applications received for admission to the University of Sindh and its Thatha, Laar, Dadu and Naushahro Feroze Campuses. He also shared details regarding the number of male and female candidates, the issuance of slips through the candidates’ e-portals and the districts covered in the second phase of the entry test.
Director of the Testing Centre Dr Aftab Ahmed Chandio briefed the meeting on measures to ensure that the test would be conducted on time, with complete transparency and strict confidentiality.
Other committee conveners including Dr Muhammad Aqeel Bhutto, Dr Punhal Khan Lashari and Dr Nazir Ahmed Brohi also briefed the meeting about the progress made by their respective committees.
