Chiniot Peace Committee reviews Eid Milad-un-Nabi security, law and order arrangements


Chiniot: A meeting of the District Peace Committee on Tuesday was held here under the joint chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan and District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif to review law and order and security arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). The meeting was attended by religious scholars representing all schools of thought, members of the District Peace Committee, traders and representatives of security agencies.



The participants discussed measures to ensure religious harmony, maintain peace and order, and facilitate processions and other religious gatherings scheduled for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Various suggestions were also presented to ensure smooth arrangements and prevent any untoward incident during the celebrations.



On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan said the administration would ensure comprehensive arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and urged religious scholars and members of all schools of thought to extend full cooperation to the civil administration. She emphasized the need for collective efforts to maintain a peaceful atmosphere marked by religious devotion, mutual respect and harmony.



DPO Dr. Naveed Atif said foolproof security arrangements would be made for processions and religious gatherings, with adequate security and other necessary measures ensured along designated routes. Religious scholars and members of the District Peace Committee assured the administration and police of their full cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting peace, brotherhood and religious harmony.



The meeting concluded with a special prayer for the security, peace and stability of Pakistan.
