PESHAWAR:PESHAWAR: Comsats University Abbottabad in collaboration with Bank Islami and Islamic Finance Centre on Wednesday arranged a seminar on creating awareness on Islamic Banking.
The event was attended by ulema, economists, civil society members, teachers and students in large number.
Addressing the event, Director Comsats varsity Professor Muhammad Maroof Shah highlighted the importance of Islamic Economic System and said that welfare of Muslims is directly related to strict adherence to principles of economics mentioned in our religion.
He said that we should avoid practices that were prohibited in Islam and also guide people not to indulge in system that is based on interest.
Shariah Advisor Bank Islami Mufti Sheikh Noman told that aim of the event w\as to promote Islamic Banking and to aware people about business practices that were prohibited in Islam.
