Rawalpindi:City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera has taken notice of the recovery of a girl’s body from the Pirwadhai area and ordered the immediate arrest of the suspects involved in the incident.
According to a Rawalpindi Police spokesperson, the CPO directed the SSP Investigation to reach the spot and submit a report on the incident.
The spokesperson said a kidnapping case had been registered a day earlier after the girl went missing, while police teams, along with her family, had been searching for her.
Police were investigating the incident from all angles and had collected evidence from the scene, the spokesperson said.
The body was shifted to a hospital for postmortem examination, while further investigation was underway.
The CPO directed that the suspect or suspects involved in the incident be brought to justice, the spokesperson added.
