Abbottabad:Deputy Commissioner (DC) Abbottabad Sarmad Saleem Akram on Wednesday directed the concerned officials to ensure transparent and merit-based disposal of all lease-related cases in accordance with rules and regulations.
He issued these directions while chairing a meeting of the District Lease Committee, which reviewed various matters pertaining to leases in Abbottabad district, including lease cases, relevant records and legal and administrative issues.
The DC directed the officials to thoroughly scrutinize all cases and ensure completion and proper maintenance of the required records. He stressed that all lease matters should be dealt with strictly according to the prescribed rules and with complete transparency.
Additional DC Finance and Planning Azka Fatima, Additional DC General Muhammad Gohar, Assistant Commissioner Abbottabad Afrasiab Zubair Hindal, TMO Abbottabad Irfan Khan, a representative of the Communication and Works Department, Additional Assistant Commissioners Kamran Ali Shah and Muhammad Usama, TMA Inspector Sardar Shakeel and other revenue officials attended the meeting.
