NAWABSHAH:Deputy Commissioner Aamir Hussain Panhwar on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to offices of Assistant Commissioner and Mukhtarkar, Qazi Ahmed and checked the revenue record, attendance of staff.
The DC instructed Assistant Commissioner and Mukhtarkar to ensure the attendance of office staff on daily basis, properly maintain the office record and resolve the genuine issues of the general public on priority.
Later DC chaired a meeting regarding cleanliness situation in Qazi Ahmed town, disposal of sewerage and supply of clean drinking water.
The meeting was attended by officials of local government, Left Bank Outfall Drain, roads and other relevant departments.
DC instructed officials for immediate resolution of public complaints and
effective steps in this regard. DC also visited different areas of
Qazi Ahmed town, Daulatpur and Shahpur Jahania Government High School
following the orders of the Sindh High Court. DC issued on the spot order for
removal of picket setup by Al Noor Sugar Mills in the limits of
school. He warned mills administration to avoid any construction in the
limits of school or legal action would be initiated under the
directives of Sindh High Court. Assistant Commissioner Qazi Ahmed
Zeeshan Ahmed, Mukhtarkar Abdul Shakoor Solangi and other officials
accompanied the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion.
Later DC inspected the ongoing beautification program of Benazir Bhutto Flyover
at Sakrand bypass and ordered for its immediate conclusion. Assistant
Commissioner Sakrand Saleem Ahmed Jatoi was also present on the
occasion.
