Decision to establish agriculture lab on wheels

Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to establish a unique agriculture lab on wheels in the province for the convenience of farmers. According to the agriculture department, mobile laboratories will be established in 15 districts of Punjab through which farmers will be able to get soil and water samples analyzed on the spot and get reports. However, it will be possible to determine the fertility of the land from soil and water samples through mobile laboratories. These mobile labs will be monitored by the central control room so that the services can be made more effective and transparent. Data call centers, agriculture officers, modern digital equipment and other facilities will be available in the container farmer centers through which timely and accurate agricultural awareness will be provided to farmers.
