Delegation led by representative of UNODC Dr Jeremy Milson calls on Governor

QUETTA:Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar on Wednesday said that along with finding out the negative effects of increasing social crimes and drugs, we have to get to the bottom of the reasons and motivations behind them.



Because only after finding out the underlying causes, the way will be paved to uproot them, in this regard, we appreciated all the efforts and support of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and we expect that this series of their help and guidance will continue with us, he added.



He expressed these views while talking to the delegation led by the representative of the United Nations Organization for Anti-Drugs and Crimes Dr. Jeremy Milson.



Balochistan Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar said that the real cause of all social problems is economic depression saying that the various negative effects of the last 40 years of civil war in the neighboring country of Afghanistan have been more concentrated on our entire region.



He said that it is necessary to attract the people towards economic and social activities by equipping them with the jewel of education, this will also reduce the effects of extremism.
