MUZAFFARGARH:Managing Director Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab Agha Muhammad Ali Abbas said that efforts were being done to promote economic-based sports activities in the province.
Adventure and Cultural based sports activities can lead the province to the generation of economic opportunities, he said this while talking to media persons after the successful conduct of Thal Jeep Rally.
The sports activities will not only provide recreation but employment opportunities. Regional sports including Kabbadi, Horse riding and musical programmes also attract masses, he stated.
The popularity of Thal Jeep Rally is improving every year. He hoped that international racers would also participate in the event in the coming year. He thanked the local administration for extending cooperation to make the event successful.
