QUETTA:Commissioner Rakhshan Division Tariq-ur Rehman Baloch on Wednesday said that the establishment of peace was the first priority in the divisional headquarters, Kharan and Rakhshan division.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting held in Commissioner’s Office Kharan regarding the law and order situation.
The meeting was attended by Levies Major Rasaldar Kharan Haji Khuda Bakhsh Sasoli, Line Officer Haji Shaukat Shadezai, Rasaldar Mahmood John Siyapad, CTD Incharge Ishtiaq Ahmed, and Levies officers.
Commissioner Rukhshan was also briefed regarding the steps taken to establish peace in Kharan district in the meeting.
He issued instructions to levies officers to take better measures to establish lasting peace.
He said that the district administration, Levies Force Kharan, and Rakhshan Division administration were trying hard for the establishment of permanent peace.
In the light of the instructions of Chief Minister Balochistan, and Chief Secretary Balochistan, measures are being taken under a special strategy to make the headquarters Kharan and Rakhshan division completely peaceful, he said.
He said in that regard, DG Balochistan Levies has been contacted to ensure the supply of modern weapons and all other necessary equipment to the Levies force in the bi-divisional headquarters Kharan and the remaining districts of Rakhshan division.
