Quetta: The district administration of Surab announced inauguration of a newly constructed Family Park under the Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI), marking the first such facility in the district’s history.
The park will be formally opened on Saturday, September 5, accompanied by a grand recreational program designed to provide citizens with healthy entertainment, a peaceful environment, and quality leisure activities.
According to officials, the Family Park has been specially designed to cater to women, children, and families, offering a dedicated walking track for women, play and recreational facilities for children, seating areas, and other essential amenities.
The inauguration program will feature food stalls, women’s stalls, children’s recreational activities, and family-friendly attractions, ensuring that residents can enjoy a vibrant and wholesome experience in one place.
The district administration has extended an open invitation to all residents of Surab, particularly women, chil
dren, and families, to attend the event and make the most of this new recreational facility.
Officials emphasized that the initiative reflected the government’s commitment to providing healthy entertainment opportunities and modern facilities at the community level, strengthening social bonds and improving the quality of life for citizens.
