ISLAMABAD: A Female Motorway Police official was saved from firing by unknown motorcyclists on her way on Noshera /Mardan road here on Sunday.
According to National Highways and Motorway Police North Zone spokesman, Muhammad Saqib, a female Sub-Inspector Javeria Shah was on her way to duty when two motorcyclists opened fire on her car near Nowshera Mardan Bara Bandra road.
Two bullets hit the front glass of her vehicle, but luckily the female official was unharmed.
As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy contingent of Motorway Police and Police Station Risalpur, District Nowshera reached the spot.
The Police registered an FIR against the unknown accused and started an investigation.
