Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Irrigation Minister Riaz Khan on Friday handed over new tractors and a Suzuki vehicle to the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) Dagar in Buner district to improve sanitation services and strengthen municipal operations.
A ceremony in this regard was held at the TMA Dagar office. Speaking on the occasion, Riaz Khan said the provision of additional vehicles would enhance the operational capacity of the municipal administration and help it respond more effectively to public needs.
He said the provincial government was taking steps to improve civic facilities and strengthen the sanitation system to ensure a cleaner environment for residents.
The minister added that the new vehicles would facilitate sanitation activities, drainage management and other municipal services in urban and rural areas of the tehsil.
He stressed that equipping municipal institutions with the necessary machinery and resources was essential for maintaining cleanliness, improving civic amenities and addressing public complaints.
Local elders, political workers welcomed the provision of the vehicles and expressed hope that the equipment would be used effectively to improve municipal services in Dagar and adjoining areas.
