HYDERABAD:The first phase of submission of Nomination Forms for Local Government election concluded on Tuesday. Out of the 2945 Nomination Forms submitted by the intending candidates, 354 Forms were submitted for the seats of District Council Chairman/Vice Chairman, 1139 for general seats of Municipal Corporation/Union Councils/Taluka Council while 306 forms were submitted for general seats for District Council.
A total of 122 Nomination Forms for Chairman/Vice Chairman were submitted for Town Municipal Corporation HM Khoja and Old Nawabshah Municipal Corporation while 475 Forms were submitted for general seats. Similarly, 247 Nomination Forms were submitted for Town Committee Sakrand, 41 for Town Committee Qazi Ahmed, 30 for Daulatpur, 17 for Shahpur Jahania, 65 for Daur, 63 for Bandhi, 81 for Buchehri and 55 Nomination Forms for general seats of Jamsahib.
