MULTAN:Seetal Maarri police have arrested five gamblers and recovered stake money from their possession during a special operation launched here on Sunday.
According to police sources, a police team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Shamoon Joiya launched an operation against gamblers and other criminals. The police team arrested five gamblers named Kamran, Sajjad, Imdad Ullah, Muhammad Kamran and Hayat.
Stake money of Rs 20,000 and other gambling materials was also recovered from their possession, police sources said and added that a case has been registered against the criminals with Seetal Marri police station.
