Gujrat: A girl was killed while her parents sustained serious injuries after a speeding car hit their motorcycle near the NADRA office on the highway, here on Friday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the accident occurred when the car struck the motorcycle while taking a U-turn, leaving three members of the same family injured.
The deceased was identified as Iman Zahra(18) died on the spot while her father Imran Hussain(47) and mother, Shaheen Akhtar(45) suffered serious injuries.
Rescue 1122 personnel provided initial medical assistance to the injured and shifted them, along with the body to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Kharian for further treatment and medico-legal procedures.
Further investigation was underway.
