Islamabad: The price of gold in the country remained unchanged on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold holding at Rs461, 936 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold of 10 grams remained unchanged at Rs396, 035, while the price of 22-karat gold of 10 grams also stayed at Rs363, 045. In the international market, gold was quoted at $4, 395 per ounce, unchanged from the previous session.
Meanwhile, the price of silver witnessed a decline, with 24-karat silver falling by Rs43 per tola to Rs6, 986. The price of 24-karat silver for 10 grams decreased by Rs37 to Rs5, 989, while international silver was quoted at $65. 07 per ounce, down by $0. 43.
The gold rates were based on interbank exchange rates, with purity set at 999 for 24-karat gold, the association said.
