LAHORE: The Safe City Virtual Women Police Station took timely action and arrested a private hospital assistant involved in inappropriate behaviour with an unconscious woman.
The incident occurred at a private hospital in Garden Town. The woman had come to hospital with her husband for treatment and was rendered unconscious for medical purposes. The assistant asked her husband to wait outside until she regained consciousness. After a short while, the man returned and found the assistant engaging in inappropriate behaviour with her unconscious wife. He raised an alarm and immediately reported the incident to 15.
The Virtual Women Police Station promptly dispatched police to the scene, but the suspect had fled. The police registered a case, arrested the suspect, and initiated legal proceedings.
