Islamabad: After the successful completion of its pilot phase, the Citizen Facilitation Centre (CFC) Tarlai has become fully operational, offering 8 key government services under one roof.
During the pilot period from July 29 to August 11, the centre processed 106 domicile applications, issued 95 birth certificates, 47 marriage certificates and 15 death certificates, highlighting growing public use of the facility.
The Islamabad District Administration has announced the full activation of the Citizen Facilitation Centre (CFC) Tarlai following the completion of its pilot phase. The centre has started providing eight government services to residents, allowing citizens to access multiple facilities at a single location.
The services available at the centre include the issuance of domicile certificates, birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates and divorce registration. Citizens can also obtain land record extracts (Fard), apply for international driving permits and get official documents verified.
According to district administration officials, the pilot phase received a strong response from residents who visited the centre to complete a range of official procedures. The results of the trial period demonstrated the demand for government services closer to local communities.
Data collected during the pilot phase shows that from July 29 to August 11, a total of 106 domicile cases were processed at the facility. During the same period, 95 birth certificates and 47 marriage certificates were issued.
The centre also handled 31 land record extract cases, while 15 death certificates were issued during the pilot phase. Officials said the figures reflect the centre’s role in reducing the need for citizens to travel to different government offices for routine documentation and certification services.
Residents visiting the centre expressed appreciation for the availability of government services within their own area. Many citizens said the facility has made it easier to complete official procedures without travelling long distances.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Memon said the Citizen Facilitation Centre Tarlai is providing important public services under one roof, making access to government facilities more convenient for residents. He added that the centre’s full operational status will further improve service delivery and help citizens obtain required documents and certificates more efficiently.
The district administration said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve public access to government services and streamline administrative processes across Islamabad.
