ISLAMABAD:In a bid to improve the safety and efficiency of traffic on motorways and national highways, Inspector General of Motorways Police Sultan Ali Khawaja pledged to ensure timely assistance to road users, reduce accidents, and improve traffic monitoring system during his recent visit Multan.
During his visit, he held meetings with officials from the National Highways Authority (NHA) and Frontier Works Organization (FWO) to discuss measures to improve the traffic monitoring system. He also met with officers of the Motorway Police to review their performance and direct further improvement, public relations officer said on Wednesday.
In addition, IG Khawaja attended a public meeting where he listened to the concerns of employees and issued instructions on the spot to resolve their problems on priority.
IG Khawaja emphasized the importance of following traffic rules to reduce accidents. He also stressed the need for timely assistance to road users in need.
He assured the public that the Motorway Police is committed to providing the best possible services to road users.
