ISLAMABAD:The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday declared the arrest of PTI’s activist Sanam Javed illegal and disposed of her plea for release.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the petition filed by Sanam Javed’s father against her arrest. The court expressed concern about the harsh statements of Sanam Javed and asked her lawyer to ensure that his client would refrain from using the inappropriate language in the future.
The lawyer assured the IHC bench that Sanam wouldn’t use such language.
Attorney general of Pakistan said that Sanam Javed is free and able to travel her province.
